There appear to be a few recent-vintage opportunities at the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation:
And another worthy group that helpfully puts a posted-date on their listings is Oxfam America – you can see the ages here:

We have nothing against the National Association of Realtors – but we have long been a little mystified that an organization of that size and scope doesn’t have a careers page (we looked – let us know if we missed it), or classifieds for real estate jobs nationwide, for that matter. Of course, that should concern candidates for their media relations-oriented Public Affairs Associate or Senior Public Affairs Associate positions.

Urban Institute:
We hadn’t previously noticed the unfortunately-named Doostang – self-described as an online community that connects top professionals to select opportunities in finance, consulting, media, and more. If you sign up and give them your info, they seem to promise to let you apply for this entry-level Consultant gig with a nameless public affairs consulting firm. And, of course, they also appear to offer more-and-better features if you get out your credit card.

The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric & Neonatal Nurses is looking for a Director of Research, Publications & Education. A PhD in nursing, nursing administration or a related field or equivalent is among their wants. Also available: Government Affairs Intern – unpaid position.

Some closing-soon opportunities to join the presumably-fun Embassy of Australia staff in DC:
Koch Industries' public sector unit has as opportunity for a Development Associate to assist with fundraising and event management. Two+ years past experience with major event planning, such as with a political campaign, company, or non-profit organization preferred.

At least five years of Capitol Hill experience, either as Military Legislative Assistant or Committee staff member, along with knowledge of Department of Defense, its budget processes and programs – that’s what Orbital Sciences Corp. is looking for in their Director, Government Relations hire. You can also search here, using keyword A09-148 or Dulles, Va. location.

Available with Management Science for Health in Arlington (Ballston, specifically):
The Association for Psychological Science seeks all kinds of interns (design, publications, public affairs, membership).

Nonprofit Professionals Advisory Group wants your resume for the Chief Marketing Development Officer post with Special Olympics International in hand by Sept. 30. Ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years of experience relevant to the management of a comprehensive marketing & development program at a large, complex, multi-national non-profit.

A small litter of opportunities with the cat advocates (catvocates?) at Alley Cat Allies:
The Ben Franklin Center for Government & Public Integrity (est. 2009) seeks a Communications Director to help publicize their work supporting investigative journalism. Can work out of their DC offices, or a remote location.

Bipartisan lobbying firm with strong client base seeks highly-qualified and motivated Democrat Lobbyist to join its GR practice.

Multiple fundraising opportunities available with the Red Cross, including Stewardship Officer (job req 7916BR) and Associate, Corporate Partnerships (job feq 7985BR). Or search here by DC location or job req, via NHQ opportunities tab.

The American Lung Association is seeking a Media Relations Director to handle the broad-based set of responsibilities that generally accompany that title. Six to eight years relevant experience desired.

More fundraising work out there – Director of Development and Associate Director of Development with the Reston-based Society of Nuclear Medicine.

Have you been searching for a job like Administrative Assistant, Public Policy & Government Relations with Google?

Interestingly enough (ok, to us), the job listed above the third Google-search result for Administrative Assistant, Public Policy & Government Relations (not in quotes). The first result takes you to the careers page of the Global AIDS Alliance, where you can find:
RTI is an independent organization dedicated to conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research that improves the human condition. You can help out as Vice President, Government & Corporate Relations (job ID 12217). Biotech, healthcare, GR and regulatory experience all appear important for the position.

We thought Friday’s late-day find with the Coca Cola CompanyGovernment Relations Director – deserves another mention.

New from the North American Electric Reliability CorporationDirector of Governmental Relations (pdf). Can also be found here, under executive category). They’re also in the market for an Attorney (pdf) to work on legislative & regulatory issues.

We could not find this Monster-powered and Largo-located Manager, Public Relations job with Comcast Cable replicated at the Comcast careers page. Maybe you’ll have better luck.

For your Monday resource – the internationally-focused and super-comprehensive Public Affairs World website is a must-see source for lobbying/PR info from abroad.
