ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability Summer Internship Program 2011 - Washington, D.C.

ICLEI USA seeks a communications intern in its Washington, D.C. Executive Office to help with daily activities, including press outreach, social/new media work, and compiling press clips, among others. You will be working closely with a seasoned Washington, D.C. Director of Communications and learning hands-on media relations and communications strategy from the ground up. The D.C. office is quite active as it interacts with every region and every programmatic area within ICLEI USA and its national and international partners.

Interested candidates should be juniors or seniors in college or graduate students with an interest
in energy and environmental issues. Previous writing and blogging experience is a plus.
