Gremlins

We've had a pretty good week here at DCPA+CJ, except for the onset of Gizmo and friends in the ol' Kaypro. Maybe the virus-protection is better in the new Atari. In any event, we're getting back to what passes for normal-ish operations around here, and look forward to bringing you a special treat tomorrow (well, maybe), and more great jobs and internships next week.

The Raben Group seeks a dynamic, self-motivated, and directed individual to join a four-person consulting team working to advance Move to End Violence, a 10-year, 80 million-dollar initiative to end violence against women and girls in the United States. The Manager of Communications & External Relations is a new position responsible for communications and outreach to engage targeted audiences, primarily via web and social media – apply by June 8

Control Risk is an independent, specialist risk consultancy, providing advice and services that enable their clients to accelerate opportunities and manage strategic and operational risks – all sounds very glamorous to us – Marketing & Communications Manager

We’re guessing it was a busy week at the Personal Care Council, with the new guidance that anything under SPF 15 really isn’t worth slathering on and all that – maybe it will all have died down by the time you’re on board as Government Affairs Admin Assistant

Research!America advocates for more and better healthcare research – and you will too, as their Vice President of Communications (pdf) – search managed by Boardwalk Consulting, who we would like to laud for their very specific updates on the status of their various searches - this one is in Phase 2: Prospects being developed; inquiries welcomed.

For your far-flung Friday consideration, we’ll send you to Ann Arbor, MI to serve as Director of Communications for the University of Michigan Law School – $115k-$135k – apply by July 8

More in the get-out-of-town beat: join Cars.com as Senior Manager, Communications or Public Relations Manager – Chicago, IL – more opportunities of all sorts available in the Classified Ventures empire in Chicago and elsewhere.
