Slow Start

Our Washington, D.C. office is seeking applicants for a full-time press internship for Summer 2016.

Applicants should be currently enrolled college students or recent graduates, available to work full-time Monday-Friday, and ideally able to start in mid-to-late May.

Duties include:

tracking and sharing press clips
monitoring traffic on social media networks
updating and maintaining press contact lists
drafting short press releases
assisting with office's day-to-day communications operation
other research duties as needed.
Candidates must show a commitment to FWD.us’ mission. Position reports to Communications Director. Applicants should have a strong interest in political communications, new media, and/or journalism.
