Crosscut Strategies – Intern – Summer 2015

Crosscut Strategies – a strategic communications firm working with start-ups, large companies, and non-profits in tech, health care, and other sectors – is looking for an intern to join our team for the summer of 2015. The ideal candidate will have an interest in politics, policy, communications, and/or technology. The intern will work on a wide array of projects, including conducting policy and media research, preparing client memos, event planning, drafting public materials, monitoring media coverage, and managing meetings and logistics. Excellent writing and editing skills are required as is the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

This is a great opportunity to build your skills as you work closely with our team to develop and implement communications programs, promote our clients’ initiatives to the media, and respond to crises. We are located in the heart of Dupont/Farragut North area, with easy access to Metro, buses, and bikeshare. This is a full-time, paid internship with the potential to turn into a full-time position, and is based in Washington, DC.
