More Light Ahead

Per the ever-useful sunrise/sunset tracker at, today has the shortest run of daylight for the year, clocking in at 9 hours/26 minutes/17 seconds worth of sun time.  Starting tomorrow, the days will start getting longer – at first by a few seconds more each day, then by a minute or more daily starting Jan. 7.  We're always a little cheered by the fact that the days are now set to start lengthening, and we hope you are too.
