We're Definitely Keeping Our Resolutions This Year!

Granted, our main resolution is to eat more oysters in 2017... but we have some other aspirations & ideas in mind for the coming year.  If your resolution is to find a new job or internship, you're in the right place.  And, don't forget previously noted opportunities closing this week.

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

Job Status: Full time

DecisionHealth is looking for an enthusiastic Content Developer/Content Manager to create, edit and manage the content for multiple online products, conferences and webinars tailored for home health care providers. This individual must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple deadline schedules and tasks at one time.

The subject matter covered can be technical and is focused on a niche industry. So this candidate must enjoy delving into one topic area and have the ability to break down complex ideas into simple terms. Desired experience includes developing/managing electronic content for health care providers or other businesses with an understanding of how to bring value to the customer through instructional/guidance-oriented information.

Responsibilities include:

· Generate polished content in the form of articles, guidance and tips for websites and online workflow tools
· Upload/manage content in proprietary content management system
· Identify areas for new content development to increase value of online products
· Coordinate with outside contributors/contractors on content creation
· Edit content from outside contributors
· Manage the production schedule for multiple products
· Suggest/contribute content for social media websites
· Recruit speakers for webinars and conferences
· Develop a level of expertise of the subject areas covered
· Gather customer feedback using online surveys, customer calls and focus groups
· Work effectively with internal teams such as Design, IT and Marketing to ensure products are delivered on time

Desired skills:

· 1 to 3 years of editing experience
· Experience covering health care or other niche industry
· Experience managing outside contractors
· Ability to translate technical materials into content that engages, instructs readers
