FTP interns regularly have the opportunity to conduct legislative and policy analyses, attend and report on congressional hearings and briefings, and draft a broad array of research memoranda. This important work is used by FTP’s principals and clients to guide decisionmaking on issues including health care, tax, energy, natural resources, financial services, and more. Interns will also work with FTP’s Operations team and gain experience preparing for and attending events, answering phones, and delivering packages to clients and Capitol Hill offices on an as-needed basis.
