They also – quite reasonably – ask that you “have (or be able to develop) a strong attachment to the recreational boating industry.” No mention of boating-related perks in the announcement – but you have to figure there has to be some pretty fun aspects to this job.
Albany, N.Y.-based law firm Tully Rinckey seeks a Lobbyist for their D.C. office. Five or more years of Hill/lobbying experience is desired.
The U.S. Agency for International Development has an opening for a Correspondence Assistant. Duties include reporting of activities and review and verification of data and facts for use in agency correspondence, reports and studies. Pay range is $39-56k; apply by Oct. 31.
The Congressional Affairs Specialist for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will “ensure effective and harmonious relationships are developed and maintained with the Congress, coalitions of government officials, consumer and public interest groups, and the general public.” Sounds like lobbying to me.
