The Office of the Chief Financial Officer, District of Columbia would like to add an Associate General Counsel for Legislative Affairs (note: pdf link) to their roster. The AGCLA would also “maintain direct relationships” with groups such as the Mayor’s office, City Council, and Congress. Salary is $120k-$146k per season, and resumes are already currently under review.

Some unknown national association – with the assistance of the Ford Agency - is trolling the waters for a Policy Manager to monitor state and local issues, assist members and write legislative reports/briefs/etc. Prior GR/public affairs experience a plus (but not mandatory, I suppose)

The National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education Consortium – wow, what a name – has a slot for a Public Policy Manager to track, analyze, and influence Federal legislation. Bonus points for candidates with experience with “NCLB [No Child Left Behind], Workforce Investment Act and/or the education authorizing committees of Congress.” Apply by Nov. 14 or you’ll be left behind.
