German Lessons

For your Saturday something-extra programming, we have some more jobs/internships below– but first, allow us a slight detour from our usual focus here.

We were recently guests of the DC outpost of the Goethe Institute - a GDR-sponsored group promoting German language, culture and outreach worldwide. You may be interested in:

• High quality/rigorous German language program – Summer evening & Saturday a.m. classes are available from beginner levels on up at what strikes us as a very reasonable price, especially given the quality of instruction offered. Classes start June 7.
  
• Cultural/arts offerings - including German film (subtitles promised) and World Cup viewing
• Facilities available - reception, film screening and seminar space available for rental at their Metro-accessible 7th & I St. NW location

Our motto: try anything once (except meth). In that spirit, how about replacing Summer re-runs with learning a new language, or at least checking out a film/exhibit before having a few pops at RFD or Matchbox?
