Junior to Mid-Level Creative Video Producer & Editor – seeking ambitious person who is willing to take the video production arm of Qorvis to the next level, and who can grow based on merit and willingness to contribute. This position will incorporate traditional activities, such as those related to the media training center as well as more advanced skills that help guide advertising and digital/interactive development.

• The person will need to work with the company to get everyone to a baseline competency for tactical video production—such as with Flip.
• They would need skills to do advanced video production and editing
• They would also need to do Focus Washington and Tech View and other things
• They’d need to be fast to accommodate new business deadlines (plus a willingness to pursue their own new business like projects such as that for Bancroft)
• They need the vision, or willingness to find one, to guide the company on projects from digital to advertising and other areas
• The person would need to have the potential to eventually handle responsibility of effectively educating and delegating less elements of their work to people in a way that frees them to be strategic and doesn’t compromise quality

Web Designer - Qorvis is embarking on ambitious growth plans and it is imperative the candidate is able to work within a dynamic, fast paced and leading-edge technological environment where consistent delivery of results is paramount to business success.

• Provide day-to-day maintenance, customizing and enhancement of various web and database applications
• Updating and problem resolution for the web site and all sub-sites
• Gathering and receiving information from member departments
• Supplying technical support to telephone and e-mail inquiries from member departments and the general public regarding the web site and its related elements.
• Assist in creating, customizing and updating topic-oriented sites in coordination with staff as required
• Developing and maintaining database and web applications for web content delivery
• Formatting policy documents and reports in to web-readable pages as required
• Assist in gathering and posting materials to the web site; converting other documents and publications as required for posting
• Communicating with staff on additions, changes and updates to the web site
• Maintaining current information on committees and subcommittees on the web site
• Creating and updating graphics as required for new or changed pages
• Responding to public inquiries and requests for downloadable materials
• Providing backup technical support to staff
• Other duties as assigned.
