    We will consider engineering, communications, and environmental/public policy majors, with strong writing skills. Website design and social media experience would be valuable. Please include a cover letter with your resume.

    The intern will:
    • Assist in preparing pubic communication documents on natural gas and natural gas
    transportation topics including safety, environment and air quality;
    • Assist in reviewing the draft reports on various natural gas related topics prepared by
    consultants retained by the INGAA Foundation;

    • Prepare draft documents on selected topics;
    • Assist in working on website design issues; and
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    The INGAA Foundation was formed in 1990 by the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) to advance the use of natural gas for the benefit of the environment and
    the consuming public. The Foundation's primary activity is sponsored research focused
    on promoting natural gas use and safe, efficient pipeline construction and operation. The
    Foundation has completed over 70 studies and projects since 1990. These studies have addressed
    issues such as the environmental impacts of energy use, improved pipeline construction practices, pipeline safety procedures, new technologies and market opportunities for natural gas.

    INGAA is the Washington, DC-based trade association that represents the interstate and
    interprovincial natural gas pipeline industry in North America. INGAA’s members transport
    the majority of the natural gas consumed in the United States through a 190,000-mile interstate
    transmission pipeline network. In addition, the association’s members include the owners of
    four operational liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals in the continental United States, as well as several developers of proposed new LNG terminals.
