  1. Myers Research/Strategic Services - Executive Assistant.

Myers Research/Strategic Services, a Democratic public opinion research firm, is searching for an experienced Executive Assistant. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and generous benefits. Office is not accessible by Metro so access to a car is a necessity. Interested applicants should e-mail cover letter, resume, and references to hr@myersresearch.com.

    Primary responsibilities:

    · Provide executive support to the CEO, including managing the calendar, scheduling all internal and external meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence management, client interaction, and research assistance.

    · Handle heavy phone traffic and serve as gatekeeper between clients and the CEO.

    · Manage work flow for principals and analysts, setting internal deadlines and priorities, and overseeing timeline for each step of each poll – including stringent oversight of the CEO’s workload and task list.

    · Work with fielding and programming departments to coordinate the scheduling of all polls in conjunction with schedules and priorities of the principals.

    Additional responsibilities include:

    · Overseeing payroll, billing and invoicing, all company-related human resources and all administrative functions for the company. Supervise employee relations, benefits and reimbursements. Maintain office supplies, shipping accounts and phone/internet accounts.

    · Help manage and schedule the company’s programming department to make sure each poll component (toplines, cross-tabs and time series documents) is proofed for errors and then provided to clients.

    · Proof-reading, copy editing, and presentation drafting as necessary.

Ideal candidate will have experience as an executive assistant, particularly in a fast-paced environment, working as a team player, a sense of humor, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
