Responsibilities include:
-- Provide editorial direction to writers, in concert with project directors, at outset of writing assignments.
-- Contribute to the conceptualization, writing, and review of client and firm copy.
-- Edit and proofread client and firm copy for adherence to requirements of initial assignment and discussion with project managers and writers.
-- Execute and update editorial policies and standards and procedures to ensure conformance with them.
-- Contribute to internal writing tools and materials, including the client catalog and website copy.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree and five to seven years of experience in writing and editing for corporate, nonprofit, government, or marketing/communications consulting organizations. Experience in strategic planning and targeted message development preferred.
