  1. Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter & Associates - Interns

Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter & Associates is a mid-sized strategic communications firm that specializes in crisis and reputation management, branding and corporate positioning, litigation support, issue advocacy, media strategy, public affairs and international communications. We work with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to nonprofit organizations and foreign governments. For more information, visit our Web site at www.clsdc.com.

Interns are an integral part of CLS. They provide administrative support for account teams, research public policy issues, plan and execute events, and assist with strategic thinking for a broad range of domestic and international clients. The small size of our firm allows interns to work closely with senior staff members and provides opportunities for substantive work. Candidates must be able to juggle a range of tasks and work well under pressure. Previous office environment experience and a major in communications, public relations, journalism or political science is preferred, but not required. Foreign language proficiency, especially in Spanish, and social media expertise are pluses.

This is a paid internship ($10/hr) and candidates must be able to work 27-45 hours per week starting in January. Start and end dates are negotiable.

If interested, e-mail your resume and cover letter to internships@clsdc.com with the subject header “Spring Intern Application.”
