Initiates, coordinates and maintains ACTE’s digital media, including webinars and other online tools designed to provide member benefit and help members network.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Coordinate and maintain ACTE’s social media presence.
2. Explore emerging technologies and determine if and when the Association participates.
3. Develop and use metrics to determine if and when the Association terminates digital social media activities.
4. Monitor other organizations to identify emerging trends in electronic communications, and make recommendations for ACTE participation.
5. Identify and solicit potential member and stakeholder contributors to ACTE social media.
6. Schedule, coordinate and produce material associated with webcasting/webinars.
7. Work collaboratively with the managing editor, membership manager and online communications manager on cross-platform promotion.
8. Develop and coordinate custom sections of daily briefing and other electronic communications.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of transitioning media to digital platforms.
10. Survey and monitor member needs in electronic delivery of content.
11. Manage relevant web content.
12. Ability to travel to ACTE events as needed, and occasionally work irregular hours as required.
13. Respond to member, nonmember and staff inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
14. Responsible for providing quality customer service in accordance with the ACTE Customer Service Standards.
15. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. B.A. required.
2. One to three years of related experience and/or training, with association experience a plus.
3. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other creative software.
4. Demonstrated, up-to-date expertise in social networking and social marketing.
5. Experience creating and managing creative, promotional video content.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Internet programming experience/knowledge and marketing experience a plus.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with an eye for detail. Writing experience recommended.
9. Strong organizational skills and ability to create and implement long-range plans.
