  1. American Association for Homecare - Director of Regulatory Affairs

The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare), a trade association representing providers and manufacturers of medical equipment and related products used at home, is seeking a director of regulatory affairs whose primary duties will focus on Medicare issues pertaining to durable medical equipment (DME) and related products and services.

Responsibilities include overseeing the Association’s positions on Medicare DME policy and promoting those issues at CMS and on Capitol Hill. Specific duties include working with industry experts to articulate policy positions, drafting regulatory comments, communicating with CMS officials and contractors about DME matters, and resolving regulatory problems encountered by the Association’s member companies.

A comprehensive understanding of Medicare Part B and experience implementing regulatory and legislative strategies on Medicare issues are necessary.

The director of regulatory affairs will be part of a larger government affairs department and will supervise a manager with similar responsibilities.

Send resume and salary requirements to: AAHomecare, Director of Regulatory Affairs Position, 1707 L Street, NW, Suite 350, Washington, DC 20036; or fax to (202) 835-8306; or email to ginac@aahomecare.org.
