ReplyDeleteThis is a full-time position to join National Restaurant Association’s Strategic Marketing team as a content creator for the Manage My Restaurant section of the National Restaurant Association website. This section focuses on how-to content for restaurant operators in four key areas: marketing and sales, food and nutrition, operations and workforce engagement. Branded content marketing is one of the most engaging and effective forms of online marketing in today’s ever-changing digital environment, and this role should suit anyone interested in learning how to develop useful and interesting content.
You’ll have the opportunity to grow your portfolio with a concrete project over the summer. The position is unpaid.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a communications major to be an active partner in a team of communication professionals and to understand the critical role of trade associations in government and politics.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, outgoing, eager to learn, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
-- Support monitoring and maintenance of GMA web site, making updates and developing content
-- Create and send HTML email blasts using broadcast email software
-- Assist with marketing of GMA events and conferences, including but not limited to: maintaining event web sites, writing/editing promotional copy, and developing targeted marketing lists
-- Database and list management
Required Skills:
