    This is a full-time position to join National Restaurant Association’s Strategic Marketing team as a content creator for the Manage My Restaurant section of the National Restaurant Association website. This section focuses on how-to content for restaurant operators in four key areas: marketing and sales, food and nutrition, operations and workforce engagement.     The Grocery Manufacturers Association Communications and Marketing Intern will experience the inner workings of a fast-paced Washington, DC communications shop. This position is an excellent opportunity for a communications major to be an active partner in a team of communication professionals and to understand the critical role of trade associations in government and politics.

    The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, outgoing, eager to learn, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

    -- Support monitoring and maintenance of GMA web site, making updates and developing content
    -- Create and send HTML email blasts using broadcast email software
