    Location: San Francisco, CA

    SUMMARY:

    NextGen Climate is currently seeking a detail-oriented communications professional to join our team as a Communications Assistant, who will provide overall press and communications support to the Communications Team. The ideal candidate should have previous communications experience in a fast-paced environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Monitor and compile daily media coverage.
    · Write and edit press releases, statements, memos and other communications materials under tight deadlines.
    · Build and manage press lists.
    · Provide administrative support, attend meetings, handle scheduling and logistics.
    · Prepare weekly newsletters and reports to internal and external stakeholders.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · A bachelor’s degree
    · 1-2 years experience in a communications field, political experience preferred.
    · Excellent organizational skills.
    · The ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines.
    · Driven with a strong work ethic.
    · Ability to work flexible hours.

  2. After applying for the NFL job, I almost immediately received an email that I am not being considered and the listing is no longer posted. It was public until at least noon today, which I find strange. There was no open/close date so it's hard to say when this posting was actually made.

  3. Anon - while I'd like to think the Patriots are somehow involved, my guess is that the NFL probably got enough candidates already and were just in the process of getting the job de-listed today. Good luck w/ the continuing hunt.
