    COMPENSATION: Based on experience. Position will be full time and include some travel.

    ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) is the preeminent global advocate for regenerative and advanced therapies. ARM fosters research, development, investment and commercialization of transformational treatments and cures for patients worldwide. By leveraging the expertise of its membership, ARM empowers multiple stakeholders to promote legislative, regulatory and public understanding of, and support for, this expanding field.

    POSITION OVERVIEW: The Project Assistant will be primarily responsible for managing and organizing the organization’s standing committees, technology sections and their corresponding calendars, as well as providing support to the various departments within the organization. This position will collaborate with current communications, membership and event staff and report to ARM’s vice president of operations.

    The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of work experience (including internships) in an administrative environment with specific experience in scheduling and managing calendars, as well as keeping meeting minutes. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) is required. The Program Administrator must be extremely detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. Prior experience in healthcare/biotech and experience working with C-level executives is highly desirable, but not required. We are looking for a candidate interested in expanding their responsibilities within the organization over time. This position is based in Washington, D.C.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Effectively and professionally communicate with C-level executives regarding ARM committees and scheduling;

    • Serve as record keeper for the organization’s various sections and committees, as well as other organization activities;

    • Manage and maintain various organization databases and spreadsheets;

    • Support day-to-day activities of the organization’s senior staff, including administrative duties as assigned;

    • Arrange and organize staff travel;

    • Assist in maintaining and updating the organization’s website;

    • Maintain solid member relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed and professionalism;

    • Periodic travel required – ARM’s events are based in different cities throughout the year. Estimated travel = 4 domestic trips annually, lasting ~3-5 days each.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree required

    • 1-3 years of experience (including internships) in an administrative environment with specific experience in scheduling and managing calendars, as well as keeping meeting minutes

    • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
