    Abel Communications, a growing PR firm with offices in Baltimore, MD and Harrisburg, PA, is currently seeking recent college graduates for the fall/winter Abel Associate Program. We are looking for energetic, motivated and detail-oriented interns who are available to commit to 3-6 months with us. This is a paid position.

    At Abel Communications, we provide strategic communications services for companies and organizations in the technology, professional services, consumer goods and healthcare industries. Abel Associates work directly with our team and with clients. Job responsibilities include content creation, media relations and account management for a stable of top-notch clients.

    Abel Associates get real-world experience in a dynamic, hands-on environment. A typical day of an Abel Associate includes building media lists, researching editorial opportunities, contributing to clients’ social media pages, developing new story ideas, drafting press materials (including press releases, media advisories and more), compiling media clippings and drafting client reports.

    Previous PR/communications internships and relevant experience and coursework are REQUIRED. The successful candidate must also have excellent computer, writing and telephone skills.
