ReplyDeleteSunshine Sachs is seeking a mid/senior-level New York or Washington, DC-based crisis communications professional. We are looking for someone who is agile, calm under pressure, can manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, able to quickly assess situations and write effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess political, in-house and/or agency experience in crisis, corporate or investor communications, and have experience working in in litigious situations.

• 4-7+ years working in crisis, corporate, political or investor communications

• Basic knowledge of the US legal system

Responsibilities include:
• Primary day-to-day contact for multiple clients
• Proactive media relations – pitching traditional media and bloggers and developing relationships
• Manage active crises
• Conduct risk assessments and draft proactive crisis plans
• Conduct media and public speaking trainings
• Create and manage timelines
• Draft and edit press materials (pitch letters, advisories, releases, op-eds, etc.)
