    • 4-7+ years working in crisis, corporate, political or investor communications
    • Ability to communicate effectively with both media and C-level executives
    • Strong writing skills

    • Calm under pressure; ability to handle a diversity of projects at the same time under tight deadlines
    • Basic knowledge of the US legal system
    • Longstanding relationships with a diversity of New York and Washington, DC-based media across a broad spectrum of beats including political, business, healthcare and legal.
    • Excellent pragmatic problem-solving skills.
    Responsibilities include:
    • Primary day-to-day contact for multiple clients
    • Proactive media relations – pitching traditional media and bloggers and developing relationships
    • Manage active crises
    • Conduct risk assessments and draft proactive crisis plans
    • Conduct media and public speaking trainings
    • Create and manage timelines
    • Draft and edit press materials (pitch letters, advisories, releases, op-eds, etc.)
