  1. kglobal is seeking an Account Director to lead the media research, assessment and evaluation team in the public affairs division of a major Department of Defense client. The team of six is responsible for assessing overall media coverage of the client organization, as well as effectiveness of the client’s engagement in the media space, and primarily will work onsite at the Pentagon. Knowledge of PR, communications, public affairs, research, assessment and media are musts, knowledge of the military is a plus, but not required.


    In this position, you will:
    oversee the research, assessment and evaluation function
    ensure measurement and reporting synchronization across divisions
    create, populate, and manage multiple databases for media analysis programs
    recommend improvements for existing programs and accurately evaluate ROI
    supervise a bright, hard working, and creative team


    To be successful in this role, you'll offer:
    expert knowledge of tier one media outlets and defense publications
    proven digital media thought leadership
    experience managing a diverse team
    proficiency briefing high level officials on program level analytics
    comfort juggling multiple priorities and competing deadlines
    the ability to make and defend thoughtful recommendations to a client looking to evolve their approach to external communications and public affairs
    be a good writer
    minimum of a Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
    approximately 7-10 years related experience
    must be able to obtain OR already have an active secret clearance
