Position: Account Executive/Senior Account Executive
Finn Partners is looking for an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive to join its Public Affairs team in Washington, D.C. Our team is looking for someone with 3-4 years of proven experience reaching decision-makers through innovative integrated media campaigns, who is digitally savvy, is a strong, deadline-driven writer, gets how to create compelling, multi-media business and consumer content, and is naturally curious about current events and interested in following news cycles relevant to clients.
This team member will be successful by understanding clients and audiences and making things happen:
- Develop creative narratives and storylines that break through to policy, consumer and trade media
- Build client reputations, thought leadership and share of voice through any and all media
- Help clients successfully navigate earned and social media interactions
- Contribute to the success of integrated, cross-office, cross-practice teams and be a leader for both team members and clients
- Help ensure clear and effective communications among clients, account teams and other stakeholders
- Generate new ideas, opportunities and strategies to enhance client success
- Help develop programs, campaigns and new business proposals
- Contribute to seamless and effortless client service, with account administration, client billing and activity reports, results reports and success metrics
How you’ll know you’re ready:
- Track record developing media strategies with successful media placements
- Illustrative samples of your professional writing and publishing content across media platforms and managing client needs
- Detail-oriented, excellent, and timely writing skills
- Ability to collaborate with a team and actively prepare and participate in all meetings
- Strong time management skills
- Positive, go-getter attitude, and strong work ethic
- Project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communication studies or related field
- Preferred 3-4 years of experience with minimum 2 years of that in an agency setting.
Capitol Hill experience a bonus.
