  1. Intellectual Property Owners Association Education Foundation - Integrated Communications Manager

    The Integrated Communications Manager will be responsible for day-to-day implementation of IPO(EF) media relations strategy and content development to ensure accurate, consistent, and effective messaging. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    --Advancing the IPO(EF) brand and related topics through integrated marketing function
    --Developing and executing social platform engagement strategy, content, and processes
    --Managing outside consultants and agency partners in the implementation of social media and media relations-driven campaigns
    --Monitoring traditional and digital news media
    --Developing content for IPO(EF)’s key audiences across channels
    --Responding to media inquiries and building relationships with media
    --Social community management, listening and reporting

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable shaping thought leadership within IPO(EF)’s communications strategy. He/She should easily employ various digital and social platforms to execute IPO(EF) content strategies for varied audiences on respective platforms. Working knowledge of the relationship between planned social media, community engagement, and direct response is required. Experience with tracking, reporting, and optimizing social media engagement is necessary. Experience with paid social plan implementation desired.

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    --5-7 years of professional experience in communications, PR, and digital media
    --Strong project management skills
    --Excellent writing and analytical skills
    --Proficiency in social media and online communities
    --Working knowledge of Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, Twitter, and email campaigns
    --Knowledge of social media content analytics
    --Experience in managing media inquiries
    --Marketing or graphic design experience a plus

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
