  2. Story Partners - Executive Assistant/Office Manager

    Story Partners, a DC-based public affairs agency, is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide front-desk and general office management assistance. The successful candidate must be a dependable, responsible, organized, self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is an ideal position for a candidate who has served as a Scheduler in a congressional office.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Serve as the primary staff for front desk telephone and reception coverage
    • Schedule travel, meetings and catering for senior executives
    • Maintain office supplies and budgets
    • Organize in-office meetings and interviews
    • Maintain and update marketing and client databases and distribution lists
    • Assist accounting department with monthly client billings
    • Onboard new employees
    • Maintain vacation schedules and track paid-time-off (PTO)
    • Prepare and submit expense reports for senior executives
    • Serve as the point of contact for IT and other vendors
    • Work with the executive team to plan marketing events
    • Update, maintain, and distribute internal directories, calendars, and lists
    • Coordinate, organize and manage marketing events and receptions, including the development and distribution of invite lists, securing vendors and coordinating set-up with vendors
    • Conduct personal tasks for the Chairman
    • Ensure operation of equipment and maintain office supplies and equipment inventories
    • Assist account teams with media monitoring, media list development, client research, etc.
    • Contribute to team effort as needed

    Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three years’ experience as an Executive Assistant or a Scheduler on Capitol Hill is required.
    Excellent salary and benefits package for a professional, conscientious team player.
