    Position Overview:

    AAO's Political Affairs Dept. needs a responsible temporary scheduling assistant to help prepare for a fly-in day for association members. The scheduler will call offices of members of Congress to secure Hill appointments, utilize a web-based data entry system, run reports and assist with registration and scheduling duties. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in organizing grassroots activities for a prestigious association.

    Responsibilities:
    - Research information
    - Telephone calls
    - Entering information in a database
    - Emailing congressional schedulers as well as Association members
    - Running reports
    - Collating packets
    - Perform general administrative duties as needed

    Requirements:

    Candidates must be able to work independently, be detailed-oriented and organized, proficient in MS Office, confident in calling for appointments and working with web-based programs.
