ReplyDeletePoliTemps is seeking sharp, political, PR, media, and public affairs temporary staff for a variety of assignments in Washington DC and the metro area.
We seek candidates who are politically savvy, and have experience in at least one of the following: campaigns, Capitol Hill, the Executive Branch, or in a legislative capacity. PR, media (both traditional media and social media), and press candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Political Science/Government/Communications majors are encouraged to apply.
Assignments fall within a range of duties and responsibilities, depending on individual candidates’ experience and specific needs of the client:
Admin, research, legislative, tracking, lobbying, event and conference support, social media activity, web and content publishing, are a sample of some of the elements of assignments we have regularly.
Applicants must live in the immediate DC metro area, ideally be open and flexible to a variety of assignments, and be available to work 25-40 hours a week with our clients. You must be available for temporary assignments and currently not working in a permanent position or interning.
Our clients include blue-chip corporations, nonprofits, lobbying firms, political consultants, PR agencies, and a variety of other organizations in the Washington DC metro area.
PoliTemps places candidates in temporary, temp to perm, and permanent positions.
Candidates must be comfortable in an office and professional environment, and adept with a variety of computer programs and software. Candidates must possess a “can do” attitude and be eager to work.
