The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the national museum of modern and contemporary art,is looking for a Digital Content Producer. We seek to share the transformative power of modern and contemporary art with audiences at all levels of awareness and understanding by creating meaningful, personal experiences in which art,artists, audiences, and ideas converge. We enhance public understanding and appreciation of contemporary art through acquisition, exhibitions, education and public programs, conservation, and research.

The primary responsibilities of this role include creating assets for paid, earned, and owned campaign collateral and sponsored content as needed, and managing content review, editing, and approval processes; consulting with internal teams to adapt exhibition- and program-related content for digital platforms and seamlessly integrate social media into upcoming exhibitions; ensuring overall frequency of digital media postings in consistent and appropriate, and that all social media, web, and email content is in line with Museum standards and goals; and applying exceptional editorial judgement and creativity to produce high-quality, impactful content while following all established editorial procedures, protocols, and guidelines for publishing content suitable for the Museum’s diverse, online audiences.

This is a full time, federal job based in Washington, DC, in the Museum’s Marketing and
