Amnesty International USA is looking for an accomplished strategist with a distinguished track record to open doors at the highest levels of government, media and other influence-making communities as Government Relations Managing Director. The Pew Charitable Trusts has a newly-created Deputy Director, Government Relations position in their also-young (about three years old) GR department. Legislative tracking and advocacy – particularly related to tax issues appear to be main duties. A hefty-sounding twelve years of related experience is required.
