The National Women’s Law Center is seeking a Legislative Representative for its women’s health and reproductive rights program. Successful candidate will monitor and advocate on issues related to health care and health insurance, including health care reform, Medicaid, SCHIP and private insurance, and women’s health. Direct legislative experience is highly desirable; JD or Master’s degree is preferred.
The Sierra Club looks to add a Conservation Organizer, Responsible Trade Program to organize support for grassroots campaigns, events and skills training and to generate turnout for campaign visibility events. Just a couple years experience working with volunteers in the environmental movement, political campaigns, or other, similar organizations will get you considered. A caveat: they note that the job is grant-funded, limited duration ending one year from hire date.
The Worldwatch Institute has their sights set on hiring a Climate and Energy Program Director to lead the program, represent the Institute before the media and other high-profile audiences, and of course, for fundraising. Five to ten years in the climate and energy field, including international and supervisory experience, are among their requirements. Apply by Dec. 15.
