Winning hire will serve as the organization’s lead federal lobbyist on public lands issues, work with NWF’s regional offices and affiliates, and also participate in media and grassroots efforts. The next Assistant Director of Communications for the Service Employees International Union will have long list of responsibilities: directing communications strategy supporting political and legislative initiatives, for one – also driving proactive and rapid response communications on key legislative issues and political/political issues – and 18 other bullet-points worth beyond those (talk about your exploited masses!).
