Fast-paced Washington, DC communications office is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated press assistant. Needs to be a self-starter with strong writing abilities. Prior communications office experience preferred. Responsibilities will include sending out morning news clip compilations to senior staff, monitoring blog postings, assisting with news release preparation and event management, issue research, fielding initial media calls, creating and managing media lists, and providing general administrative support to the Vice President of Corporate Communications.
