Again, we’re confused – this time, it’s the Association for International Practical Training that’s knotting our brain stems. On their about AIPT page, we read that in 1948, two men and the Board of Trustees at MIT sought ways in which the institute could join the international cooperative undertaking to rebuild war-torn Europe. One of them is probably the distinguished fellow pictured at that link (and at left). But which one? Why don't they name either founder there? Why only a picture of one founder? Are collar pins like his going to come back in fashion?
