Shutdown Coming

Programming note: even though we're not on the government payroll, we certainly fit the description of non-essential employees. However, that's not why we'll be mostly (or possibly completely) out of operation next week – we'll be on business-related travel, in fabulous Las Vegas; look for us at the $5 blackjack table or Frankie's Tiki Room.

We’ll start with a couple opportunities with our friends over at the British Embassy:
The National Women’s Law Center seeks candidates for Media Director with a minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations or journalism and experience placing stories in a competitive environment. Knowledge of health care, reproductive rights or the federal judiciary is highly desirable; campaign or Hill experience also a plus.

Are you passionate about your education and your career? [we’re pretty sure the right answer here is “yes”]
Are you enthusiastic? [YES!!!]
Do you thrive in a team environment? [Sure – just as long as we're the shortstop, QB, point guard, or get to be Alex Ovechkin]
Are you interested in exploring the opportunities afforded those who work for a top technology and strategic communication company? [why else would you be applying for an Internship with Strategic Social?]
