Bipartisan Policy Center - Events Coordinator
The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) drives principled solutions through rigorous analysis, reasoned negotiation, and respectful dialogue. Founded in 2007 by former Senate Majority Leaders Howard Baker, Tom Daschle, Bob Dole and George Mitchell, BPC combines politically-balanced policymaking with strong, proactive advocacy and outreach.
As the only Washington, DC-based think tank that actively promotes bipartisanship, BPC works to address the key challenges facing the nation. Our policy solutions are the product of informed deliberations by former elected and appointed officials, business and labor leaders, and academics and advocates who represent both ends of the political spectrum. We are currently focused on health care, energy, national and homeland security, housing, transportation and the economy.
BPC has an immediate opening for a full-time Events Coordinator in the Department of Communications. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for logistics,

- Draft schedules, event agendas, and staffing memos.
- Research venues and manage relationships with vendors, serve as BPC point of contact, and coordinate invoicing.
- Draft and print event collateral such as invitations, programs, and place cards and work with Director of Public Affairs during the editing process.
- Track and manage invitation process in CRM database and assist policy projects in creating and maintaining email marketing lists.
- Work with Administrative and Communications teams to compile and organize materials prior to events, including guest photos and bios, press clips, and BPC promotional material.
- Assist with event follow-up including completing post-event forms and budgets, drafting and sending thank you letters, coordinating with BPC Legislative and Development departments.
- Work with Web Producer and Events team to manage event information and ensure all documentation is saved and organized properly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
