  1. Hey there! Just curious how you know the UMD job will help promote environmental initiatives. Doesn't indicate that on the job posting.

If that's indeed the case, it would make a better fit for my resume, and marginally increase my chances.

    Thank you!

    Andrew

  2. Huh?

I note the UMD post will: "... help promote campus sustainability initiatives."

From the description (under "Position Summary/Purpose of Position" section):

The coordinator’s primary focus will be in support of sustainability campaigns sponsored by the Office of Sustainability and Facilities Management (e.g. Recycling and Solid Waste Unit and Energy Office) as well as other departments collaborating on campus-wide sustainability initiatives. The Coordinator will develop a communications strategy for the Office of Sustainability, publicizing activities internally and externally; manage the university’s sustainability website and social networking sites; and assist with campus sustainability programming.

Am I missing something here? (you are talking about the U of Maryland Communications Coordinator the post above (4/8), right?

  3. Ah! Apologies. I saw the 4/8 post originally, then scrolled back to the 4/9 UMD Comm Coordinator position and clicked it expecting it to be the same thing.

THAT is the more general VP office communications position.

Thanks for the work you do, I appreciate it and read you folks a lot!
