-- 0-2 years of experience. The best candidates will have experience (internships are okay) with a public affairs or public relations firm, congressional office, political campaign, electric utility or trade association.
-- Writing and editing skills are important for much of the work we do.
-- Being detail oriented is a must. This position requires the successful managing of multiple projects, many of them on different deadlines.
-- While experience in media relations is not required, it is preferred.
-- A good awareness of social media and digital advertising would be a plus.
-- Travel is required. The candidate should be able to travel and still manage to remain as productive on the road as they would at the office.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities
The position will require the successful candidate to wear several different hats. This position will assist in the managing of a nationwide outreach program for a large scale energy client. Primarily the program consists of planning campus events throughout the United States, and parlaying those events into media coverage. This position requires travel, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a keen eye for detail as that will be needed when planning an event over 2,000 miles away.
