Those Three Little Words

Today, DCPA+CJ is all about those three little words we all long to hear: work in progress.  Oh wait, that's a phrase that hurried, harried & hustling job-seekers likely don't want to hear, but that won't change the fact that today's set will come to you in bits & pieces [all done now; see you tomorrow]

  2. Mortgage Bankers Association – Senior Communications Specialist

    The Senior Communications Specialist is a crucial link between the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and a variety of internal and external audiences. They will help to develop and implement innovative communications campaigns which engage MBA members, thought leaders and other stakeholders.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Work with the Public Affairs department to develop creative strategies for communications campaigns to advance MBA’s visibility and initiatives.

    2. Write, edit and distribute timely communications including articles, letters, memos, etc. from MBA’s CEO and other senior executives on important public policy issues and MBA developments.

    3. Advance MBA's social media presence (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook) by engaging with MBA members and promoting issues important to them.

    4. Help evaluate MBA’s current communications’ processes and develop plans to improve content, style and delivery.

    5. Update written content on MBA.org and the MBA intranet.

    SPECIFICATIONS:

    The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years experience in either public affairs or journalism.

    This person should feel comfortable working within a Public Affairs department to advance the agenda and work, as needed, on various projects to advance MBA’s messaging to internal and external audiences.

    Additionally, they should feel comfortable drafting and sending articles, letters, etc. from C-suite individuals.
