Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
· Create and implement communications products: rollup technical documents into plain-language web-based briefs, blurbs, newsletters, fact sheets, etc.
· Develop and manage social media presence: devise strategies, create content, and assess success; develop and test new approaches to enhance social media presence.
· Conduct outreach to stakeholders: develop and maintain list or database of strategic partners and networks; identify mechanisms for increasing engagement with these partners and networks; identify and cultivate relationships with bloggers covering labor and evaluation issue areas.

Qualifications:
· 1-3 years’ experience conducting traditional and social media outreach for a governmental organization, research institution, or nonprofit entity.
· Bachelor’s degree with evidence of academic excellence.
· Strong written and oral communications skills; the ability to understand complex research and translate it to accurate plain language for a general audience.
