dsrpt kommunications, LLC a startup communications firm is looking for enthusiastic interns for the spring and summer of 2019. Our interns will mostly work remotely to assist the principal and team members as needed in both managing client work and the growth of the company. Interns will be active contributors, helping to drive messaging and develop strategies in the management of day-to-day communications, social media, and business development.
Assignments for this position may include, but are not limited to:
Media Relations
• Contribute to brainstorms and drafting communications plans
• Monitor industry issues or news for clients
• Draft and distribute press statements, pitches, and releases
• Draft, edit and proofread client deliverables
• Build and maintain press contact lists
• Provide support with planning events and activities
Social Media Management
• Develop and manage a social media strategy
• Create content and engagement for firm’s social handles
• Create compelling social media content for clients
• Identify and compile lists of key journalists’ Twitter handles
• Track and analyze social media insights
Business Development
• Compile press clips in topical areas
• Assist in the development of client proposals

QUALIFICATIONS
