I'll continue to pass along jobs that people send in. I really do miss this pulling this together & knowing that a lot of you have found jobs through the site, or at least found it useful and/or lightly amusing. I'll share a longer update soon & reply to all your kind emails soon. I'm actually super-busy these days, as I work a communications/advocacy role in the healthcare sector. I hope you all have something compelling & rewarding to keep you occupied in these wild-yet-constraining times.

I hope you're well and I want to strike the balance between "oh my god I miss this so much" and "you should take care of yourself and we can live without you".

I'm just a reader, but just so you know - I did get a job thanks to your blog. I've also included it in every "guide to finding a job in DC" email I've written in the last decade or so. Most importantly, I read your blog every day when I was in awful jobs, reminding myself that something out there could be better. And it inspired me to make the change when I needed it.

These are goofy times but I hope you're well, internet stranger. You have been a great part of my day for a long time and I'm glad you're busy doing healthcare work - I can't imagine a more important time.

Thank you so much for all you have done for us job seekers! I've used your site throughout the years for several distinct job searches. You will be greatly missed!

Are you still planning to write some job-searching advice and a big set of relevant job-board links, as you mentioned when you first announced your retirement? I'm sure it will be super useful and I for sure would love it! Thank you again!

Similar sentiment - thank you for aggregating all of these jobs for us. You've been called for a higher task, and we're all better because you exist.

Thanks so much and please take care of yourself.

I was hoping you'd change your mind!
Just your tone reminded me of the best of WDC.

Ditto to all comments above (except for the spam post!) I have found gigs and a job thanks to you. It's nice to see you pop up, but as others have said, please do take good care.

All the best!
