Late to the Game

Hello Friday job-wanters! We're a little behind schedule today; perhaps we'll add a few more this afternoon to atone for our tardiness.  Almost all of these are direct-to-us submissions to start.

1) Camris is seeking a Senior Reporting and Communications Advisor to support the USAID-backed President’s Malaria Initiative – 9+ years’ experience in reporting/communications related to international development & public health sought; background supporting malaria-related work a plus.

2) Sunrise Senior Living is recruiting for a Manager, External Communications with 4-7 years of public relations, corporate communications, journalism, and/or marketing experience; mix of agency and in-house experience a plus.

3) The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities is seeking a Senior Director of Communications with 5+ years of related experience that includes a blend of advocacy and media relations work – Capitol Hill location – apply by Oct. 22

4) The National Education Association has passed along this well-compensated ($100/hr) Freelance Communications Writer role crafting op-eds, scripts, talking points, quotes & speeches

5) Unity Health Care, the largest network of Community Health Centers in the District, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist with at least 1-2 years of experience in the field. Strong copy writing skills and proficiency in developing social media strategies & content are musts.

6) The Democratic Mayors Association is seeking a Program and Communications Associate
 With 1-3 years of experience in a political, non-profit, or campaign setting, familiarity with Twitter, Facebook, Squarespace, Canva, Mailchimp, or similar platforms, and a passion for cities, progressive politics & local progress.

7) The Signal Group has passed along an Associate, Communications (scroll to find) post suited for aspirants with at least one year of PR agency, in-house, or government communications experience as well as strong oral & written communication skills, particularly under deadline pressure.

8) Global Fishing Watch is casting a net for a Senior Director of Global Programs with 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in policy, public affairs, or political work and preferably in a multi-cultural/multi-country environment – San Francisco, CA – search managed by CEA Consulting

9) British EmbassyPolicy Advisor, UK Mission to the UN – $67k – New York – apply by Oct. 17
