South Florida State House Race -- Campaign Manager
A competitive campaign State House in South Florida is seeking a Campaign Manager to coordinate all aspects of the campaign and manage relationships with staff, consultants, and partner organizations. This is a political position in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment. The job will require travel as well as weeknight and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
● Directly manage the competitive campaign for State House
● Supervise campaign staff, interns, and volunteers
● Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, partner organizations and local groups
● Develop and execute a fundraising plan, manage call time and events
● Work with consultants to develop paid communications budgets
● Respond to press inquiries, build relationships with reporters, and draft press releases
● Manage social media profiles
● Draft written content for the campaign
Skills and Qualifications
● A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
● Knowledge of state legislative campaigns
● Experience working directly with candidates
● Volunteer management experience
● Experience with Votebuilder, NGP, and ActBlue is desired but not required
Salary and Benefits: $4,500 - $5,000 monthly salary commensurate with experience plus health benefits.
