48) … and finally: the language on the Jan. 20 Hiring Freeze decree from the new Administration seems pretty clear in positing that that no Federal civilian position that is vacant at noon on January 20, 2025, may be filled, and no new position may be created except as otherwise provided for in this memorandum or other applicable law. We have zero idea when/if this injunction will eventually lead to removal of listings on USAJOBS.gov like this probably terrific Lead, Public Affairs Specialist role with the Library of Congress – $142k-$185k – apply by Feb. 17.
