Eight Days? Where Did the Time Go?

We're just eight days away from Election Day 2026. Wow. 

Early in-person voting is open through: 

• Oct. 29 in Maryland
• Oct. 31 in Virginia
• Nov. 1 in DC

Keep in mind that Daylight Savings Time comes to an end in the early hours of Nov. 1, and those first couple evening commutes after the switch, when sunset clocks in a few minutes after 5:00pm around here, can be pretty grinding. Just something to keep in mind if you're a vote-after-the-standard-workday-on-Election-Day kind of person. Good luck however you vote – and also with your job-search, of course.
