An anonymous leading international news media organization is seeking an experienced Managing Editor who reads, writes, and speaks fluent Arabic and English. This individual will manage all broadcast/internet news staff, provide quality control, direct assignment editors, and lead major program projects.

VoterPunch needs a U.S. Congress & Public Policy Writer/Expert to write vote descriptions for their searchable database – in particular, folks who are lucid and succinct (ok, we’re out). And, they’re pretty emphatic – looking for SOMEONE WHO HAS THIS INFORMATION DOWN COLD, and is an EXPERT ON CONGRESS (and NOT JUST SOMEONE WHO HAS AN INTEREST). Pay “works out” to about $30/hr.

Staying on the caps-lock beat: “You must have be an EXCELLENT WRITER!!!!” if you want to be a Media Analyst with the maybe-typing-too-fast folks at Strategic Pioneers (or perhaps one of their clients - it's not crystal clear to me). Also MUST be able to work in environments of the fish-bowl and intense varieties. Foreign policy experience, and French, Chinese, Japanese language skills also a bonus. Salary noted in $64-$68k range on this page.

One of your current cubicle comrades is certain to give you the magic sphere pictured at left at your going-away party.

Does the future (or Boston) frighten the hell out of you? Maybe the History Factory is more your speed, especially if the cool-sounding title Senior Idea Engineer is appealing enough. You’ll help clients explore communication opportunities and other uses for their heritage and demonstrate art-of-the–possible creative thinking.
