Team Overview

The Salesforce team is responsible for operating, maintaining, and implementing all Salesforce Applications. Salesforce serves as one of the main operational platforms for the campaign.

Role Overview & Day-to-Day

As Salesforce Lead you will report to the Deputy CIO. Your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of helping users with requests, maintaining the overall quality of the system, as well as building new and complex applications. Salesforce Lead serves as the person responsible for gathering requirements and configuring those requirements, as well as working with members throughout the campaign to create applications that meet the needs of each team. Additionally, the role helps departments map out, define, and enhance business processes. The role serves as the point-of-contact for all Salesforce related-needs, from scoping and defining, to building, training, and improving. You will work within the Operations team at Campaign HQ in Brooklyn. You will be exposed to all departments within the campaign as Salesforce is touching many different areas.

Tasks & Responsibilities

--Gather requirements from teams to build or update existing applications
--Help maintain day to day Salesforce needs (maintain and monitor Salesforce, data, and users)
--Conduct user trainings
--Write user training guides
--Data Load
--Deployments and Change Sets
--Build Reports and Dashboards
--Define and enhance business processes
--Build workflow rules, approval processes, and validation rules
--Build emerging and new applications consisting of configuration heavy projects
--Onboard new users and departments

Required Skills & Background

--Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration
--Understanding of securities, permissions, and sharing models in Salesforce as we are working with highly sensitive information
--Salesforce.com Certified Admin
--At least 2-5 years of Salesforce configuration experience
--Ability to work in a fast paced environment with quick timelines
--Ability to manage multiple work streams
--Strong understanding of permissions and security in Salesforce

Bonus (please indicate if you have experience with the following):

--Ability to create visual flows
--Ability to write Visualforce pages
--Ability to write Apex Code
--Ability to create and integrate Webforms into Salesforce
--Has worked with or configured Quickbase in the past
