Colley Intelligence - Social Media Investigator

Summary:
DC-based international investigations and risk management firm Colley Intelligence is searching for an experienced Social Media Investigator. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct social media and background research as part of civil litigation, due diligence, pre-employment, and risk management-related projects. We are looking for individuals who pride themselves in their ability to focus on detail, have extensive experience in cultivating and analyzing unstructured qualitative data, and fluency in the most widely used social media platforms.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Complete well-written and in-depth, highly detailed summaries of open source information (OSI) and social media findings to present to colleagues and clients
• Work closely with colleagues to confirm identities through proprietary database and social media mining research
• Interact with colleagues and clients in a highly professional and communicate effectively using written and oral communication
• Maintain timely communication with investigative staff regarding workflow or issues arising with cases
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding projects, subjects, and client information and interaction.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-4 years’ experience in social media analysis, research, or investigation
• A demonstrated mastery of cultivating, analyzing, and organizing large sets of social media data on individuals and organizations.
• Experience with collecting, organizing, and analyzing elements of the public record
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Fluency in MS Office Suite
• Foreign Language skills highly preferred
